The 6th Academic Conference on Nutrition Improvement across the Taiwan Straits, Hong Kong and Macao, sponsored by the Macau Nutrition Society, was held at the Macau Science Museum from 14 to 15 September 2018. More than 200 nutrition scientists and technicians participated in the conference. The theme of this session is "New Challenges in Nutrition Therapy and Health Promotion". Academician Forum and Theme Report were set up. At the same time, there are two main venues: Nutrition and Successful Aging of the Elderly, Clinical Nutrition, Establishment and Development of Registered Nutritioners, Enteric Comfort Promotion Strategy for Infant and Child Feeding, Maternal and Child Nutrition, Public Nu Nine sub-forums on disease prevention and control, student nutrition, pediatric clinical nutrition, health-preserving medicinal diet and health food were held. Nearly 70 well-known nutrition experts from both sides of the Taiwan Strait and Hong Kong and Macao made brilliant reports on nutrition and health issues of common concern to the people of both sides of the Taiwan Strait and Hong Kong and Macao. The participants had academic exchanges on the latest advances in nutritional science, the standardized application of clinical nutrition in various fields, the prevention and treatment of nutrition and chronic diseases, and the registration and management of nutritionists.
The successful holding of the 6th Academic Conference on Nutrition Improvement across the Taiwan Straits and Hong Kong and Macao has strengthened the exchange and exchange of scientific information among nutrition academic groups.
