The International Association of Nutritionists was established in Canada in 1995. It has been devoted to curriculum development, training system establishment and practice guidance for more than 20 years. Nutritionists have been trained worldwide, especially in underdeveloped areas of the world.
Founded in 2007, under the guidance of the International Academy of Life Sciences, the Chinese Registered Nutritionists Association has developed the first nutrition curriculum in 2008, and launched the first theoretical guidance of nutrition curriculum in China in the same year. In 2011, the course was upgraded to a registered dietitian training system. Over the past ten years, curriculum development and research results of certification system have served the health cause in the Mainland, bringing up a large number of nutritionists and contributing greatly to the training of talents.
In order to further integrate all the advantages of the resources, we should make it bigger and stronger. The Chinese Association of Registered Nutritionists signed a certification agreement with the International Association of Nutritionists in Hong Kong on September 15, 2018. The achievements of the Chinese Association of Registered Nutritionists will be formally recognized by the International Association of Nutritionists. At the same time, the training business of the Chinese Association of Registered Nutritioners will receive the guidance of the International Association of Nutritionists from the signing date of the memorandum. From January 2019, all qualified trainees will be issued double certificates.
According to Ding Dongliang, CEO of CICRN, and the requirements of the memorandum, CICRN will fully accept the guidance and support of the International Association of Nutritionists in the training and examination of nutrition and health managers, industry standards and values. CICRN will further expand the international training system with the help of the influence of the International Association of Nutritionists, and will certainly contribute to the trend of the world's major health undertakings in the future.
